I wanted to share a little bit of the history of this project. Believe it or not this all started back in 2019! I had no idea back then that it would balloon into something of this scale but here we are. The very first board I designed, which was not even really functional, was a gift for my partner. It all started with the idea, hey what if I use the copper layer to put some cool artwork like some kind of sigil or seal. If you haven't checked out my website yet, please do give it a look through. There's a LOT of information and links there! Read the full update.
A single Anwaar amulet consists of two PCBs: a baseboard and a faceplate. The open-hardware baseboard hosts a microcontroller, a hybrid supercapacitor, power-management circuitry, and breakouts. The faceplate allows you to channel all that electronic goodness into a wearable medium of expression, be it a brooch, a pocket token, a badge, an ornament, part of a larger object, or something else entirely. Help us launch this campaign and share the gift of anwaar! Read the full update.
