It’s time to introduce GoMo Detox Tea to the world!

I need to purchase packaging for the GoMo custom blended tea and reusable muslin tea bags. A handheld heat sealer will be required as well. The black PBi Stand-up pouches from Pacific Bag are made of rice paper, perfect for packaging our tea. The bags, which include zip closures, are re-sealable. GoMo black and white labels on top of the black bags will give this product a sleek appearance and the rice paper gives a unique, soft texture that I feel works best for our brand. The packaging only comes in cases of 1,000 pouches (crazy, right?) and I plan to use all of them to deliver this wonderful product to you. Finally, of course is the large order of teas and supplements that are blended to make GoMo Detox Tea the remarkable elixir it is.

History of GoMo

As many of you have discovered, I have come to understand that even the tiniest of hangovers can be more vicious than when we were younger.

I began a search for the best hangover “cures” that were all-natural and not to be found on two a.m. infomercials. I love tea. I considered the cleansing, stomach soothing and mental awareness properties that teas contain. What if I put together a blended tea to help speed up hangover recovery?

After a number of tea and supplement formulations, I found the perfect mix for GoMo Detox Tea. “GoMo” is a play on both Good Mood - which you in will be after it takes effect; and Go More - which you’ll be doing more quickly after drinking the tea.

GoMo isn’t just for a hard night out recovery. It’s also great for:

The Tea

Ingredients: Yunnan Pu’erh tea, Organic Jasmine Green Tea, Proprietary Blend of Supplements that includes Ginger root, Vitamin C, L-Theanine and 5-HTP.

For the best cup of GoMo Tea, we recommend steeping 1-2 teaspoons of the blend, bagged, into a cup of hot water with a temp between 180-212 degrees F for 45 seconds. Add lemon, sugar, honey or milk as needed to taste.

• Yunnan Pu’erh Tea: The tea is stronger than the green tea and tends to be the overwhelming taste profile (though the backend finish of the tea brings out the taste of the green tea). Pu’er tea is widely believed in Chinese cultures to counteract the unpleasant effects of heavy alcohol consumption.

• Organic Jasmine Green Tea: The flavor profile of this tea is subtly sweet and highly fragrant. The powerful antioxidants in green tea have been shown in recent studies to fight viruses, slow aging, and have a beneficial effect on health. A few benefits of green tea include reducing high blood pressure, lowering blood sugar, and lowering cholesterol.

• Ginger: Ginger root is effective in reducing nausea (which often accompanies a hard night out) while increasing fluids.

• Vitamin C: A potent antioxidant that helps remove toxins from the body. Dehydration from alcohol often depletes vitamin C and hampers the body’s ability to recover quickly.

• Theanine: Theanine is an amino acid and a glutamic acid known for its ability to reduce mental and physical stress, improve cognition and boost mood and cognitive performance when coupled with caffeine.

• 5-HTP (or 5-Hydroxytryptophan): An amino acid that occurs naturally in the body, and when taken in supplement form (derived from the seed of the African Griffonia Simplicifolia plant). 5-HTP raises serotonin levels in the brain which can be disturbed by alcohol consumption. 5-HTP also helps to ease headaches and promotes restful sleep.
