New ROS Tutorials are Here

Catch them here. Now there are 8 lectures to help you get familiar with a set of software tools that powers modern robots:

  • ROS introduction
  • creating nodes
  • simple kinematics for mobile robot
  • visual object recognition
  • running ROS on multiple machines
  • SLAM navigation
  • path planning
  • unknown environment exploration

You will learn how to tell the robot to get from one place to another avoiding obstacles and how to explore unknown environment with use of occupancy grid frontiers. If you’re going to build a delivery robot these ROS lessons will help you a lot. Of course there are many other solutions you can come up with, that are benefiting from using this software in an unknown environment- it’s up to you to identify real-life problems that you can solve using it.
