In-stock Items and Pending Pre-orders

by Crowd Supply

TLDR; stocked items are available to order, but we’re still committed to filling pre-orders.

Stock vs. Pre-order

snickerdoodle black (Connectors Up), snickerdoodle one, cookieJar, and piSmasher products are now officially stocked and available to order with immediate shipping. breakyBreakys, wallWarts, and additional accessories are also stocked.

There has been some confusion over item availability. How can Crowd Supply be adding items to stock when there are open pre-orders still waiting to be filled? Hopefully we can clear some of this up here.

While the physical items themselves are the same, pre-orders and stock items are treated separately and differently in Crowd Supply’s system. For example, any piSmasher ordered from stock is physically being picked from a different inventory group than a piSmasher that was pre-ordered. We have set aside enough units to fill the outstanding pre-orders, and have added the rest to the official stock inventory. So even if your pre-order has not been shipped, this doesn’t mean that we don’t have a unit reserved for you. It only means that your pre-order is being held up for one reason or another (see below) but is still in the queue.

Pending Pre-orders

If you have an open order for snickerdoodle items that has not yet shipped, here are a few reasons why that might be:

piSmashers

For some orders, the hold-up is due to the piSmasher price increase (read more about this here). If you are waiting on an order that includes a piSmasher, and haven’t contacted the krtkl team (orders@krtkl.com) regarding either a refund or the price increase, please do so ASAP so that we can get you your items (or your refund).

Single Item Availability

Some orders have not shipped because not all of the items in the order have been available. This is the case for a lot of open orders, especially if you’ve selected the shipment option, “Group my items into as few shipments as possible”. We may have, say, three of the four items in an order available, but we’re holding the items until we can ship the order in its entirety.

For example, there was a few weeks delay with baseboard header availability. However, the baseboard headers just arrived at our warehouse so pre-orders that include baseboard headers (and other available items) will be shipping soon!

We appreciate everyone’s patience and recognize that this has been a long process. We are working to ensure that everyone receives their complete order or resolution in some form or another. Thanks for sticking with us!
