Quick Update on Status of Everything

Here’s a quick update on the status of everything:

snickerdoodle – We received the first of the reworked snickerdoodles back from the contract manufacturer last week and they passed with flying colors. We expect to have the balance (approximately 100 boards) delivered, tested, and shipped out to Crowd Supply for fulfillment by the end of this week. We’re also getting another production batch started, which will take a decent chunk out of the remaining order backlog. We still can’t predict exactly when any particular order will ship, but if you’re in a bind you can always [email us](mailto:orders@krtkl.com?subject=Can%27t wait for my snickerdoodle!) to see what can be done to expedite your order.

piSmasher – We are in the process of implementing various hardware fixes to fix the issues discovered while bringing up the Rev. 4 first articles (most of which revolve around signal integrity). This will likely take a couple more weeks, at which point we’ll be building another small batch before moving to production. Still a little ways to go, but we’re getting there.

Ship dates – There’s been some confusion and conflicting information around the posted ship dates on Crowd Supply and the actual ship dates of orders. We’re actively working with Crowd Supply to resolve these issues.

We realize we’re coming up on two years since the original snickerdoodle campaign launched… To say things haven’t exactly gone as planned would be a huge understatement, but we remain 100% committed to delivering on our promises and are looking forward to finally realizing the vision of the snickerdoodle ecosystem and community.

Thank you again for your ongoing patience and support. It means everything to us and you will not be disappointed.

Until next time,

the krtkl crew
