GNU Radio Video Demo

by Ričardas Jonaitis

LimeSDR Micro is supported by the Lime Suite NG driver stack, which bundles the gr-limesuiteng source and sink blocks for GNU Radio that provide direct integration for LimeSDR hardware. These offer numerous benefits over using generic abstractions, such as exposing more of the underlying hardware features. However, Lime Suite NG also provides a SoapySDR plug-in which can be used with via the gr-soapy blocks, meaning that LimeSDR owners may also use a vendor-neutral API and GNU Radio blocks should they so wish.

In this latest update, we provide a quick demo of using the gr-limesuiteng blocks with LimeSDR Micro and a simple spectrum analyzer application to view >100 MHz of spectrum in cellular and WiFi bands. Following which, we provide a demonstration using another flow-graph which implements an FM receiver.
