Video Demo - Building Firmware Images

by Ričardas Jonaitis

LimeSDR Micro features an NXP LA9310 baseband processor, which, amongst other things, integrates an ARM Cortex-M4 core and a Vector Signal Processing Accelerator (VSPA). The ARM core runs FreeRTOS-based firmware which takes care of device configuration and control, while the VSPA core is used for DSP tasks such as decimation/interpolation and implementing custom accelerated signal processing.

In this video, we demonstrate how easy it is to build firmware images, which are configured using CMake, while also automating the task of downloading the required ARM and VSPA compiler toolchains.
