HDSDR Support for LimeSDR Hardware

We’re pleased to announce that support is now available for using LimeSDR hardware with the popular Windows application, HDSDR (High Definition Software Defined Radio).

HDSDR is freeware and support for hardware platforms is provided via ExtIO DLL plug- ins. The DLL that adds support for LimeSDR hardware has been tested with both the LimeSDR Mini and the larger LimeSDR USB board, and is based on previous work by community member, Jocover.

Setting up is as simple as installing HDSDR and then dropping the ExtIO_LimeSDR.dll file into place. Following which the hardware can be configured for antenna input selection and receive gains via the ExtIO button in HDSDR. Note also that future transmit support is planned.

For details see the Myriad-RF wiki. The ExtIO DLL sources can be found on GitHub.
