Our Campaign is Now Live on Crowd Supply!

by Mordecai R

We’re extremely excited for our campaign to go live and officially open orders for SOCORAD32. Thank you for your patience and interest so far and for all the encouragement to get this product out in the world.

All this while, we have been perfecting SOCORAD32. We have improved the transmitting/receiving sensitivity, functions, aesthetics, ruggedness, and more. For user convenience, we have now included a battery holder, and the 3D enclosure design file is almost complete! We will release this for those interested in building an enclosure. Add an 18650 battery and good speaker on it and you will have your own customizable Walkie-talkie.

We’ll be publishing weekly updates during the campaign, so stay tuned!

SOCORAD32 has so many more capabilities to offer than just a Walkie-talkie. With its loads of functions and capabilities, it helps you to explore, learn, and better understand the amateur radio world. With the bluetooth functionality, you can send and receive SMS on your phone up to 5 km via this device. Let’s remind you some of the other attributes with these briefs below:

Additional features are detailed on the campaign page.

These are complex times for building hardware, so to ensure that this project is not delayed by the semiconductor crisis, we have already secured the key components. This means that we hope to deliver this first production run to backers as soon as possible once campaign is complete, and to be able to easily stock our product for future orders.
