Martin McCormick started Scale RF to make affordable and scalable phased-array tech. Previously, he was a founding member of the Starlink project at SpaceX, serving as principal systems architect of modem silicon. At Analog Devices, he led algorithms for the RadioVerse (AD93x) transceivers--the industry-standard chips powering popular SDRs like USRP and ADALM-PLUTO.
Joined May 27, 2026. Backed three projects.
A system for weather satellite reception and hydrogen line radio astronomy
A motorized antenna rotator engineered for the Discovery Dish
A 4x4 MIMO SDR tile for spatial RF vision & beamforming that scales as a phased array
