This week, we have a couple of quick updates for everyone. First off, the TPS27SA08 heater driver is being swapped with a BTH50030-1LUA. This part does not give as many diagnostic features, but it does allow for higher current heaters. The reason for this change is due to a few of the current heater drivers being non-functional on arrival in test batches. We’ll work to figure out the root cause of this; however, for now, we do not want to risk shipping something that could fail later, and we do not want to delay shipping while we work with TI to figure out what’s causing faults with these parts.

The board footprint is still identical with these changes. That’s all the progress updates we have for now. We’re working to begin EMC testing as soon as possible, and then we will be ready to begin manufacturing of the board.
