You can purchase the CPU now with your Talos™ mainboard order or later as convenient. Assuming the Talos™ mainboard campaign reaches its funding goal, we will continue to offer CPUs for sale at least up until the mainboards start shipping. This allows you to spread the total cost of purchase out over a longer period if you’d like.

* "Turbo frequency" is the maximum frequency the CPU can sustain indefinitely as long as its temperature remains under thermal limits. While in turbo, the CPU is dissipating more thermal power than the thermal design power (TDP), similar to Intel and other manufacturers.
Some Talos configurations require that you install the CPU yourself. Installing the CPU is fast and easy. We’ll include complete instructions.
