Campaign Ending Soon

As the campaign comes to a close (with less than two days remaining to back), I wanted to share some more of the progress that’s been made towards production. This includes a small upgrade for the campaign backers.

  • All of the long lead items have arrived. I ordered them at the beginning of the campaign, in anticipation that I’d get plenty of backers. Thank you all!

  • All of the components are on their way to the PCBA house. They’ll build the first articles, I’ll test, and then then they’ll build the rest. If there are no kinks in this process we could have completed boards in 6 weeks, about 6 weeks ahead of schedule.

  • The first 100 units will have free upgrade to speed grade 3 FPGA, which means that you’ll be able to get more thruput from the DDR. Boards purchased during the campaign (up to the 100 quantity) will definitely get the upgrade, while pre-ordered boards carry no such certainty of the upgrade.

  • All boards will come with an adapter that will allow you to use a standard 14-pin JTAG cable with NiteFury. These are being constructed now; should be ready in about 3 weeks.

Stay tuned!
