Revised Funding Goal and Heatsinks

In order to save time on production and to smooth the actual assembly process, many of the components to build NiteFury were purchased early on in the campaign. Not only does this speed things along, but it means there’s less additional funding necessary to complete the production run. To reflect this change in needs, and in consultation with Crowd Supply, the funding goal has been lowered to $7,500, which means that the funding goal has been surpassed and NiteFury will be made and delivered! Of course, this changes the parameters in which you placed your order. So if anyone would like to change or cancel their order, they can absolutely do so. Just write in to Crowd Supply.

We very much appreciate all the backers who made this a reality. Thank you! We’ll keep you updated on the production status over project updates. Here’s a bit of news on the custom heatsinks:

Heatsinks

NiteFury can be purchased with an integrated, low-profile, custom-made heatsink. This was actually the final piece to be designed, and we’re very happy with the results. And it’s an important component to get right when working with such a large FPGA.

Heatsinks were actually ordered before funding started, and they are here!
