Good Ancestor Kilakila: An SDR Satellite
A whirlwind tour through Good Ancestor Kilakila, a tiny experimental communications satellite developed in a few months around Lime Microsystems SDRs and Raspberry Pis.

I’m excited to share that we’ve sent out our first batch of beta units! A huge thanks to everyone who’s already shared feedback—your insights are helping us refine Brodboost-C in real time. Next up, we’re tackling the challenge of making the supply as noiseless as possible. This is a crucial phase, and I can’t wait to see how your input shapes the improvements ahead. Finally, we've arranged for the first BrodBoost-C packaging prototypes.

Project Update · Browsing the Sky For GNSS Satellites

The iotSDR has a Max2769 GNSS front-end chip capable of receiving on the GNSS L1 band. GNSS systems are similar, in some respects, to satellite communication systems. They provide a unique set of features that we believe justifies the inclusion of such a specialized receiver chip. This update covers one possible application of that feature set.

We're happy to announce that we've now published the pre-launch page for the Discovery Drive, an affordable automatic antenna rotator designed for the Discovery Dish and similarly sized antennas like Wi-Fi grid and Yagi antennas.
