Just last week, we took AnyShake to an exciting hackathon. This wasn’t just a technical showcase; it was a public validation of our core concept: a decentralized earthquake monitoring network.

We are incredibly proud to report that AnyShake received a wave of positive feedback and high praise! We not only proved that our vision is achievable but also gained a wealth of invaluable suggestions and brilliant new ideas from the community. This experience has filled us with more confidence than ever about the future of AnyShake.

What’s Next: The Roadmap for AnyShake

A successful campaign is just the beginning. We know that delivering an excellent product and fostering a vibrant community are our most important mission. Here is our clear plan moving forward:

• Shipping as Soon as Possible: With the campaign nearing its end, we’re shifting our focus to production and logistics. We aim to start shipping units as early as possible to minimize your wait time.
• CE/FCC Certification: We’re preparing for CE and FCC certification next week to ensure global compliance and help streamline import and usage in more regions.
• Decentralized Network Support: We’ve proven that a decentralized earthquake network is feasible with AnyShake. This feature will be released as open-source software and will work with all existing devices.
• Post-Campaign Pricing: As a reminder, our campaign pricing was designed to cover only the base cost of development and production — especially to support those who can’t build the device themselves. After the campaign, a slight price adjustment will be made to reflect ongoing maintenance and support costs. We promise to keep it reasonable and accessible.

A Transparent Word on Pricing

Our original goal for this crowdfunding campaign was to provide an accessible way for those who couldn’t DIY their own device to join our project. The campaign price was set as an "early bird" special, designed to simply cover our fundamental R&D and production costs. It was our purest way of sharing our passion with you.

As the project grows and our community expands, so do the long-term costs of software maintenance, feature updates, and community support. To ensure the sustainable, long-term health of AnyShake, we will need to make a modest adjustment to the price after the campaign concludes.

We promise that the future retail price will still be reasonable, affordable, and offer incredible value. However, this also means that the current campaign price is the absolute best value you will ever get for an AnyShake. It is a unique opportunity for our earliest supporters.
