Shurky Jurky uses non-processed meats and provides Classic, Home Style, Rip Tear Jerky. We offer premium beef, pork, turkey and bison. All fresh & natural, always. The farms and ranches from which we source our quality meats follow organic practices that preclude the use of pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilizers, growth hormones and routine antibiotics in their operations.
Our flagship beef jerky is made of butcher-grade beef that comes from natural, pasture raised cattle that consumed pesticide-free and chemical-free grass. These cattle grazed on grass in the majestic hills of the Pacific NW. Being grass-fed & grass-finished, they never saw the inside of a feed lot, and their beef does not contain any antibiotics or hormones.
We source our pork for our jerky from local family farms located in Oregon. The pork we use is fresh & natural. Our pigs are grain-raised only, and never feed on animal proteins or hormones. Our turkey jerky comes from nearby family-operated poultry farms located in Oregon and Washington. The free-range birds are humanely-raised seasonally outdoors, on pasture.
Our premier, lean bison meat comes from a ranch in-state which raises 100% grass-fed buffalo. Our ranch partner for our bison jerky is committed to raising premium quality buffalo meat in an ethical and environmentally sustainable way. The bison are 100% pasture- raised for their entire lives, grazing on Certified Organic Pastures and hay that has not been sprayed with herbicides or pesticides. No antibiotics or hormones are used in producing this bison meat.
Well marinated beef, turkey, pork, and bison is what gives Shurky Jurky its special flavor. All of our jerky products are marinated for several days to allow for optimal saturation before dehydration. People love our marinade so much that we’ve decided to sell our secret sauce in bottles so you can marinate your steaks and other meats before they hit the grill.
Our proprietary marinade is our jerky’s secret sauce. It is made from scratch using fresh pineapple, Bragg liquid aminos or coconut aminos, and our top-secret blend of spices. We couple this custom mixture with our house Worcestershire sauce. Our marinade contains no refined sugar and has 4-8x less sodium than other comparable products which rely heavily on salt-laden soy sauces.
