Our Campaign Has Concluded Successfully!

by Patrick V

Our campaign is over, now the real work can begin! ;)

Thank you all again for supporting the campaign and helping to launch this exciting new product! When you start something like this, you can never be sure of the market response. Especially if the new product contains a technology most people are unfamiliar with and documentation is still a work in progress. I appreciate that for most of you this was somewhat of a leap into the unknown and I thank you for your trust, I will do my very best to not disappoint!

Manufacturing Update

We haven’t been idle on the manufacturing side of things: while the campaign was on-going, much progress was made in sourcing the parts to build the initial stock of the ManT1S and ManT1S-Bridge. I’m happy to report that most parts have been ordered and have already been delivered to my CM! This includes the ESP32-PICO-V3-02 modules sourced directly from Espressif.

The only things still missing are the ManT1S-Bridge RJ45 connectors (which are on order) and the Padauk PMS150 for configuring the ManT1S-Bridge switch chip on boot, pre-programmed with the finalized code. I am waiting for the arrival of PMS150G samples to see if I can use this newer part instead of the PMS150C I used in the prototypes. Once these have arrived and been tested, I will place the order with Sino-Mos.

Having most parts already present at my CM, including the ones shipped from the US such as the LAN8671 PHYs, represents a large reduction in risk and increases the chances of being able to ship out the rewards in a timely manner. I’ll continue to post more updates with technical information and manufacturing updates here as the project progresses.
