The Halo TD-XPAH is the first affordable, open platform available to develop and deploy long range 802.11ah Wi-Fi software & hardware.

When we set out to create 802.11ah solutions, we couldn’t find an easy-to-use platform on which to test & develop our own ideas. So the TD-XPAH was originally designed for our in-house experiments, because we needed a flexible & affordable platform ourselves.

Since this is a completely new technology we thought there must be other folks facing the same problem. So we decided to turn the Halo TD-XPAH into a development platform so that it could be utilized by other like-minded engineers, makers, and creators.

We are launching three accessory boards with the campaign that serve as examples of how to use our open hardware Kicad template and add remote air quality sensing, traditional Wi-Fi connectivity, and Ethernet connectivity to the TD-XPAH development platform.
