This is our biggest update so far, after we've delivered our first order of Maypole. We sincerely apologize to all our backers for the delay that we caused for some orders. It was due to shipping batteries outside of India, and we were doing it for the first time. They have now successfully shipped, and will arrive to you shortly. We also have updated our GitHub repo with our first major new version release in firmware. More details and screenshots below. Read the full update.

While we continue to be affected by the COVID-19 situation in India, including additional lockdowns, we have managed to carry out a series of three tests on each of the 192 maypoles produced in this batch. They are all working properly and we expect to pack them up and ship them to Crowd Supply before the end of the month. We've set the estimated ship date to the end of June, but we fully expect to ship before that. Thank you for your patience! Read the full update.

One of our backers made a great suggestion: why not add GPIO expansion to Maypole? We liked the idea so much, we decided to do it! To that end, we designed a revision with four GPIO so that Maypole can be used to interface with sensors and other hardware add-ons. These pins can be used for SPI, I²C, UART, or analog input.
