All ANAVI Fume Extractor kits for your orders are ready. The Crowd Supply team is arranging the logistics. In the meantime we have some exciting news to share!
Do you like mechanical keyboards? Do you need a few extra custom keys? We recently launched an open source, programmable, eight-key keypad with backlighting, underlighting, and OLED screen called ANAVI Macro Pad 8 with Crowd Supply.
ANAVI Macro Pad 8 is a completely new type of project for us. For the first time we are using the Microchip ATmega32U4 and mechanical switches. However, if you look closer you will notice that some of the parts are actually the same as in the ANAVI Fume Extractor.
As you know from the previous updates all kits for ANAVI Fume Extractor will contain a couple of 09325-M/45 PPI foam media filters which we stocked from Mouser. The filters are replaceable. The do-it-yourself and open source nature of the project allows you to use any filter type you prefer. Recently a community member recommended using carbon filters such as Fellowes FEL9372101 which are widely available through Amazon, Walmart, Office Depot and various other distributors. The advantage is that activated charcoal absorbs odors. This particular filter model is wide so you have to cut it into 80x80mm pieces to fit ANAVI Fume Extractor.
