Innovations and Enhancements

Circuitboard Revolution: We’re taking a giant leap forward by redesigning the circuitboard to include a TRRS jack, replacing the traditional audio cable. This change is all about maximizing functionality and sleek design.

Take a closer look — we’ve started 3D printing PCBs for size and scale! It’s a "paper doll" that ensures everything in the final design will fit perfectly!

Attenuation Circuit Overhaul: Jesse is fine-tuning the attenuation circuit for compatibility with an even wider range of radios, making Boondock Echo more versatile and user-friendly. And guess what? With an attenuation bypass switch, we’re line-out compatible! Scanner people, this one is for you!

Case Redesign: With circuitboard improvements come case modifications. KC is meticulously ensuring that everything fits perfectly, including 3D printing prototypes for precision. And in keeping with the FOSS mantra, KC is designing everything in TinkerCad.
