Project update 5 of 6

The First Batch is Almost Ready

For the last two weeks I’ve been loading the firmware and testing each board with a real motor and encoder. The bootloader’s ability to program the flash memory, and the correct operation of the the step, direction, reset and error signals were verified.

The 4 and 6 way pigtails for the JST PH connectors and the pluggable part of the screw terminals were delivered too. This is what you’ll find in your package.

Before the boards ship, I’d like to update their firmware one last time. Patrick Dussud has helped me big time finding bugs and optimizing the software and hardware… yes, the hardware too, we’re talking PSoC here!

I’ll post the next update when the first boards start to ship. Get ready for your new motor controllers!
