Project update 15 of 24
Approaching Finalization
by
Denis
First I want to apologize for the long delay since our last
update. Time flies, and estimates continue to shift, including our
best guess as to when production will be complete. In the meantime, we
were able to accomplish the following:
- Assembly instructions are ready. Comments and suggestions welcome!
- The SCPI reference guide is complete
- We published the v1.0 firmware
- We have tested and fixed all modules we've received so far: BP3C, AUX-PS, DCM220, and MCU
- Everything is ready for final packaging as soon as the final module (DCP405) arrives
- We are working on three new peripheral modules:
- MIO168, a digital and analog I/O module
- PREL6, a module with six programmable power relays
- SMX46, a programmable 4x6 switch matrix module
- We have made progress toward an FPGA integration with the ULX3S team
Once we’re done testing the DCP405 module, we will get an updated
estimate of how long it will take to ship everything to Crowd Supply
for fulfillment. Until that happens, we cannot say for certain that
our recently revised ship date of July 13th is realistic.
