Status Update

Hello everyone!

Our new project “ERASynth Micro” will be going live very soon. We have been busy fixing a few problems and trying to finish the embedded firmware code. The first revision of the PCB had a couple of errors. We fixed those errors and improved the design. We also added some more features, such as temperature reading, external EEPROM for fine calibration and vibration motor for feedback.

We thought a plastic enclosure would be nice and decided to design one. We had to change the PCB layout to adjust the margins for the enclosure design. We hired a local designer to the mechanical design work for us. The design is now complete, manufacturing is in progress. If everything goes as expected, we should get the first sample in about a month.

In the meantime, we are constantly improving the LCD GUI and firmware code. We managed to add AM, FM, Pulse modulation capabilities. In addition to these analog modulations, there is FSK modulation available on the LMX2572. We are working on it.

We have already purchased components for the first hundred units. During the campaign, a hundred ERASynth Micro units will be ready on a first-come-first-serve basis.

We are very excited about this project. See you soon…
