We hope this update finds you well. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey with us. We have some important information to share regarding the progress of the Mixtile Blade 3 project.
We sincerely apologize to all the backers who purchased the Cluster Box and have been waiting for their shipments. We understand the frustration caused by the delay and would like to explain the reasons behind it. We have been working hard to optimize the hardware, including improving the PCB layout, prototyping new PCBs, and testing. This process is crucial to ensure a high-quality, high-performance Mixtile Blade 3 Cluster Box. However, these optimizations have inevitably caused a delay of at least one month. We assure you that these improvements will enhance your experience. And we will expedite the testing process and complete the shipments as soon as the optimization is finalized.
We encourage all users to update to the new firmware for an improved experience. The new firmware(image-release-blade3-debian11-20230505.img) was successfully released in early May, addressing known issues. However, we have recently identified some new bugs, and our team is working diligently to fix them. Please exercise caution and refer to the Known Issues and Bug Fixes List for more information.
We believe that some backers who exclusively purchased the Blade 3 board may have received their shipments. We appreciate your enthusiasm and hope you are enjoying your new Blade 3! We value your feedback as early adopters and invite you to share your thoughts and suggestions. To show our appreciation, we are launching a feedback collection initiative exclusively for Blade 3 board recipients. Your input will help us enhance the product, and you will have a chance to win a Blade 3 case as a token of gratitude.
