With two 2.5 Gb Ethernet interfaces, Mixtile Blade 3 is perfect for server applications, and its low-latency, 4x PCIe Gen3 edge connector allows you to scale your deployment by leveraging multiple boards. Furthermore, its on-board neural processing unit (NPU) enhances AI-workload performance and provides extensive support for machine-learning with a 6-TOPS compute performance. This update walks through various quantitative benchmarks that demonstrate the level of performance provided by Mixtile Blade 3. Read the full update.
The daisy-chain topology used to cluster Mixtile Blade 3 boards is more economical, more user friendly, and faster than the alternatives. As many of you have noted, however, it can be challenging to find the breakout cables necessary to interconnect a PCIe daisy-chain topology. For that reason, we decided to make a custom breakout board and some custom cables. This update also includes a just-announced stretch goal and a reminder about our interactive livestream event.
