View Purchasing OptionsWe’ve met and exceeded our funding goal. We’re now 128% funded! This milestone is the result of so many contributions: every backer, every share, every question, and every bit of feedback helped get us here. Thank you for believing in us and helping push this project forward.
We were recently featured in IEEE Spectrum and Hackaday, check out the articles if you haven’t already.
From September 18–21, we’ll be at Design Shenzhen, an event that combines consumer technology and interior design. We’ll have our own table to showcase what we’ve been building and connect with designers and technologists. Come by and say hello!
With just seven days left in the campaign, now is the time to back the project if you want to be among the very first to receive a kit. Pre-orders will remain open after the campaign ends, but backers get priority on the first production run.
With the campaign fully funded, here’s our current status:
Board Design Finalized:
After many iterations and refinements, the driver board design is complete.
Panels Secured:
Supply is confirmed for both the 6-inch and 13-inch e-paper panels.
Certification Underway:
A testing lab is currently working with us to certify the board.
Manufacturing Partners Ready:
Once certification is complete, our partners are set to begin production.
We’ll share more updates as progress continues, especially as we get closer to shipping the first units.
In this update, we’re highlighting Inkredible, a community member who has been building his own board and chassis from scratch, working to improve color accuracy on his e-paper screen. Check out his website and his work, below:
Open hardware isn’t just about publishing schematics. It’s about building and learning together as a community. Every question, idea, or demo adds to something bigger than what any single person can.
Here are some of the ways you can get involved now:
Show & Tell:
Share ideas, sketches, or projects you’d like to see. Early concepts and prototypes help inspire others.
Help Others Get Started:
Post tips, resources, or examples you’ve found useful. Sharing knowledge makes it easier for people to get started.
Test & Feedback:
Join conversations about what’s working and what could be better. Your input helps refine and improve the work as it grows.
Content & Documentation:
Translate guides, draft tutorials, or share learning notes. Clear documentation helps more people contribute and experiment.
Advocacy:
Bring open hardware into your spaces, start conversations online, or host a small meetup. Every bit of visibility grows the community.
Early Signals:
Tell us your needs and priorities. Community input helps shape what we build next.
In the meantime, stay connected with the community on Discord, Matrix, or follow us on Mastodon. It’s a space to share ideas, ask questions, and explore what’s possible together.
¡Chao y hasta la próxima!
