We Did It!

by Ismulin M

After consulting with Crowd Supply, we have decided to reduce our funding goal to $11,250. Combined with recent backing, that reduction means our campaign has funded! And that means our backers will receive their QUARKs according to the original schedule. We’ve already begun negotiating with suppliers in order to minimize the production time of this first manufacturing batch.

The QUARK PCB will be fabricated JLCPCB, one of our partners in China. Assembly and testing will be carried out here in the Republic of Belarus, which will reduce the production time of the finished product.

It is very important to us that QUARK be given the opportunity to reach users who are in a position to appreciate the effort we’ve put into designing and building it. Our primary ideological motivation, when creating QUARK, was to simplify hardware development and to make it as easy, comfortable, and convenient as possible for makers to build their own devices—a core principle that applies to our firmware as well. Low barriers to entry and good documentation will allow even novice users to modify the device according to their needs and to gain valuable programming experience.
