Open Smart Kit (OSK) is a set of open source ESP32-based modules ideal for a variety of automation tasks, including home automation. All OSK modules are enclosed and support DIN rail mounting.

Open Smart Kit fills the gap between a fully DIY automation solution, which may require a lot of knowledge and effort with non-optimal results, and professional devices that are often expensive, proprietary and closed-source.

Open Smart Kit was created by programmers for programmers, so users can develop custom firmware and easily flash it without limitations. At the same time, users who don’t wish to program OSK can set it up in minutes by using a friendly, plug-and-play software like ESPHome or Home Assistant.

OSK is useful in a wide variety of situations, including but not limited to light and climate control, working with AC/DC, connecting sensors (temperature, mountain, etc.), and integrating with Home Assistant or other home IoT systems. Due to the modular and open source architecture the hardware can be improved, extended, or upgraded with new functionality and characteristics over time.

Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine  ·   OpenSmartKit  ·   OpenSmartKit

Our goal is to manufacture open hardware for automation. We created OSK for our own needs and hope that other people require such hardware as well. Currently, we are a new, small company, but with community support OSK will grow up and produce high-quality, affordable products for engineers and enthusiasts.
