This ultra-wideband (UWB) development kit Includes several ready-to-use demos for evaluating Qorvo's low-cost, low-power QM33110W and QM33120W UWB transceiver chipsets, which support two-way ranging (TWR), time difference of arrival (TDoA), and angle-of-arrival (AoA) measurements. The kit includes five devices with an integrated non-AoA UWB antenna (white enclosure) and one device with an AoA UWB antenna (grey enclosure).
Demonstrates FiRa compatibility with a smartphone, including accurate distance and angle measurements displayed on a custom mobile app.
Demonstrates distance and angle measurements between the initiating node and the responding node, communicated to a desktop application.
Demonstrates TWR-based proximity detection between freestanding nodes without the use of other infrastructure.
Demonstrates a real-time locating system (RTLS) with an unlimited number of nodes in receive-only mode using downlink time difference of arrival (TDoA) measurement.
Demonstrates a real-time locating system (RTLS) of one roaming node with four nodes as fixed-position anchors.
Demonstrates real-time navigation, tracking, and bidirectional telemetry among many nodes.
