Project Update · Manufacturing Update

In the previous update, we noted how COVID lockdown in Shenzhen had halted our manufacturing. We're happy to now say that lockdowns in the Shenzhen area have eased, and manufacturing is back in progress. There is still the risk that lockdowns could come back at any time, but for now we are able to continue making manufacturing progress.

iotSDR
Project Update · We Are Live!

We are extremely excited to be launching the iotSDR crowdfunding campaign. Our passion for RF technology and our commitment to open hardware brought us here, and we can't think of anywhere we'd rather be! Featuring dual, narrow-band (AT86RF215) transceivers, a GNSS frontend, and a Zynq SoC, iotSDR is packed with features that developers will appreciate. With support for open source software like PYNQ, Jupyter, and GNU Radio—as well as powerful, gRPC-based remote-operation capabilities—iotSDR provides an open hardware foundation upon which you can develop some very cool applications.

Welcome to everyone interested in Discovery Dish! We decided to develop Discovery Dish because we were disappointed by the lack of ready-to-use, low-cost, lightweight dish antennas on the market that are suitable for software-defined radio projects like receiving L-Band geostationary and polar-orbiting weather satellites, as well as for 1.5 GHz Inmarsat reception and 1.42 GHz hydrogen line radio astronomy.

In this Teardown Session, Crowd Supply's Helen Leigh talks with Zeke Wheeler (KJ7NLL) about satellite tracking, ham radio and making contact with the ISS.

CaribouLite
Project Update · All Components Secured

All components have been secured, and CaribouLite production continues. Unfortunately, we have had to delay delivery of CaribouLites until October. Those are the words we have been unable to say until now. We waited to be 100% sure, but, as of today, this has became our optimistic reality. Thank you for your patience! See below for the gruesome details...
