Fulfillment to Begin Shortly!
The batch shipped to Mouser last week, and it appears it's been delivered. So they should be distributing DeckSight shortly. .Crowd Supply has asked me to remind everyone to double check their shipping address to avoid issues. Since I've gotten a few emails about tracking numbers, etc., I just wanted to clarify that Shade Technik doesn't actually handle individual orders that are placed via Crowd Supply. Additional Production Delay of About One Month
DeckSight panels have been produced and are currently en route to us, but shipping by sea takes a couple of weeks. They shipped about a week ago. We already have everything else on hand (packaging, FPC cables, toolkits, etc.), so it looks like the ship date will be delayed by about a month, to around July 20th. This update also covers our new graphical installer, which will make it much easier to get DeckSight up and running when it finally arrives. Read the full update.
Progress Toward Production
The wheels are turning but it looks like it will take a bit longer than the originally planned ship date. Things were a bit late getting started due to extending the campaign for the EU buyers and silly things like delays in funds transfers, etc. The panel manufacturing is also taking a bit longer than expected, mostly due to shipping production samples around and things like that but no major issues. We'll be updating the projected ship date to June 20th which is about 6 weeks longer than originally projected. I don't necessarily expect it to take that full 6 weeks but rather than sell it short and have to update the ship date again, this should leave a bit of space. Read the full update.
