I have been having fun playing with my YMFC Mini-drone. Linked below are two videos showing a couple of projects I did recently.

Playing with drones with SDR has always been one of my hobbies. I found a nice project called gr-ntsc-rc, which supports analog FPV camera (FM, NTSC standard). I didn’t hesitate to try it with ymfc-mini-drone. I finally got it working!

As introduced in the last campaign video, I’ve been working on controlling a mini-drone using SDR. I did a little bit of research and found out that both the sender (SDR) and receiver (drone) support Bluetooth Low Energy packets. That led me to successfully control the ymfc-mini-drone with HackRF, and I made my code open source.
