New Shipments
Hey Slimes!
As usual, we start with the shipment update: the last 734 sets of SlimeVR 1.0 and 1.1 have been shipped to Mouser a few days ago and should be on the way to you soon! If you ordered a set that doesn’t have v1.2 in the name - you’re in this shipment! Or you can order some of the still remaining Full-Body or Deluxe Tracker Sets while they last ;)
Along with that, we have also shipped 100 of each upgrade set: Hip Upgrade (1+0), Arm Upgrade (2+0) and Feet Upgrade (0+2)! Ideal if you already have SlimeVR and want to add a few more trackers to your set. You will be able to buy them when they’re stocked at Crowd Supply - there will be no preorders for this. Expect these to be stocked within the next 2 weeks.
This brings us to 22,748 sets of SlimeVR shipped in total so far comprised of 134,020 individual Slime Trackers. An absolutely absurd number, and we’re not stopping as long as you care about SlimeVR and open-source VR in general!
Version 1.2
In the last update, we announced SlimeVR hardware update v1.2. We’re glad to say that the work on it is progressing well. We have tested production samples of the Main Trackers, and now both Main Trackers and Extensions Trackers are currently being mass-manufactured. We’re still aiming for delivery at the end of July, but it will be a challenging task. There is still work being done on the firmware and fusion algorithm for the new IMU, but we’re at a good point. We are confident that the new trackers will not be worse than the old ones, and we have cross-compatibility between main trackers and extensions of all versions.
Tariffs
Despite the tariffs and uncertainty in world-wide trade, we’re happy to announce that we will not be raising prices on SlimeVR because of the tariffs! In fact, as mentioned before, we lowered the price of our smallest set from $195 USD to $185 USD, with other sets getting upgrades to the chest tracker. Of course, this assumes that the situation won’t change. Which it probably will. If anything changes, we will inform you as soon as we can!
Epic New Things
We just released SlimeVR Server v0.15.0! You can check the full changelog on our GitHub page, but the main highlights are:
VR Chat configuration warning: now the SlimeVR app automatically checks if you can improve your VR Chat settings for better tracking.
Diagnose Wi-Fi provisioning issues, like if you forgot to turn on your tracker while connecting it to Wi-Fi, the server will detect it and nicely remind you to turn it on.
Check if your Network profile is set up to Public (which is not recommended for SlimeVR): the server will nicely ask you to change it to private and give you a small guide on how to do it.

What’s Cooking?
v0.16.0 will be A BIG DEAL!
The biggest thing that will be in the next release is Stay Aligned! - a smart way to combat IMU tracker drift that is aware of human behavior and is tuned specifically for you! By carefully adjusting your trackers closer to your rest poses, it can eliminate drift for a lot of use cases of SlimeVR. This includes normal social usage that mostly consists of standing, walking, sitting, laying down, and similar movements! It has been in development by one of our contributors, Jaberrock, for more than half a year, with extensive testing and feedback from our beta-testers and community. Trust us, it’s as cool as it sounds, and it’s still being improved!
Cool New Design!
We’re also working on a complete overhaul of SlimeVR UI to make it easier to use, clearer to understand, more consistent, and overall just BETTER. We know that a lot of gamers break into a cold sweat when they hear about the redesign of their favorite app, but this will not be like Discord: we’re taking feedback from real users, sticking to our principles of consistency and good practice, and iterating on feedback. SlimeVR Server will be way easier and nicer to use!

Furality 2025
SlimeVR is coming back to Furality this year! This year’s panel will be hosted by our employees and contributors Erimel, ZRock35, and Butterscotch. You will be able to ask our devs any questions on the Furality Discord thread, or just learn more about the inner kitchen of SlimeVR <3

Teardown 2025 by Crowd Supply
This year, SlimeVR attends offline events too. We will be again at Teardown by Crowd Supply! There you will be able to meet our MoSlime team in person, check out our products yourself, and ask any questions at our stand. So if you live somewhere close, or want to check SlimeVR IRL, this will be your best option.

Inner Events
Did you know that the SlimeVR community organizes VR Chat events hosted by ZRock35, where anyone can attend, get help with calibration, dance, and relax at yoga sessions? Good news! Dancing events are coming back too, you can check them on our server event calendar.

Have you ever felt tired by a simple thought of setting up VR and your Slimes? Or felt awkward wearing all these straps? Or maybe always wanted more tracking points to have a more immersive VR experience? Or maybe wanted to use FBT for VTubing but were afraid to set it up because it is chonky and not comfortable enough? Spaghetti of cables? Weird straps? Awkward charging? Eeeh… We feel the same way.
