Hiyo Slimes!
Its been an epic start to the year for SlimeVR already, with our Butterfly Trackers campaign launching and reaching its funding goal in a little over a day!! If you haven’t already checked it out, head over to the Butterfly Trackers campaign page and check out the amazing trailer we made. We also published our third Butterfly newsletter, a Questions & Answers page that answers all the most common questions we have been seeing over the last few weeks related to our Butterfly Trackers trailer, such as "Can I upgrade my old set with Butterfly Trackers?" and "Toe tracking?? How??!?". Go have a read after this if you have any unanswered SlimeVR questions.
Shipping News
Meanwhile, our first shipment of the year, Shipment 15.1, is about to arrive at Mouser & Crowd Supply for fulfilment. Over 2 metric tonnes, it contains over 3,000 sets of slimes including Lower-Body, Enhanced Core, Full-Body, and Deluxe sets. If you have been waiting for any of these sets to come in stock, keep a very close eye on your inbox over the next two weeks! This shipment also has a heap of Hip and Feet set upgrades.
On the horizon we also have Shipment 16 slowly approaching, set to finish assembly in around 2 weeks from now. This will contain a plethora of sets, including Core, Enhanced core, DIY, and a bunch more upgrades. Those hanging out for a Core set, Elbow set upgrade, or DIY set in particular should keep a close eye on the progress of this one, as this will be the next shipment containing those three SKUs.
SlimeVR Rave Event
To celebrate such an amazing start of the year, we are hosting a Butterfly Slime Rave this weekend!
Live from our Netherlands HQ, SlimeVR will be hosting an EDM extravaganza, simultaneously on on twitch.tv and in VRChat. Tune in to Twitch to watch and chat, or show up to our VRChat event in-person/creature for some amazing high energy sets from local and international artists: Leraine DDR, Triplestar, WaveMeow, MaxPainNL, Electro, and Power2All. You may recognise WaveMeow as the talented artist that produced the music used in our Butterfly trailer!

Merch News
We are finally about to launch our first ever official SlimeVR Merch!!
Yup, we finally have a plushie! After nearly a year of back and forth with our designer and manufacturer, we have arrived at a finished design which we are extremely excited to announce, and it’s available for pre-order now on our Butterfly Trackers campaign page. Custom designed by CorgiBeans and based on our mascot, Nighty, this big soft slime is the perfect size for cuddling up to and protecting you from all the spooky things lurking under the bed. Very friend-shaped!
Server Updates
After a few months of quiet, we have finally started testing the latest version of our server software, v18.2. Available for testing in our #beta-testing-forum, this version fixes a few bugs, adds some small quality of life features, and lays the groundwork for more verbose networking info for WiFi Slimes in the future. Expect a full release of this minor version bump sometime in the near future after testing is concluded.
As soon as v18.2 is finalized, we have a lot of things lined up for v19.0, so keep an eye on our #beta-testing channels in Discord. The new version will include Steam release that will help you easily install and update SlimeVR on all OSes, including Linux, Mac OS and Steam Frame!
