Good news! Your 3DoT boards are being shipped this week! We are shipping them to Crowd Supply, who will then distribute them to you. We are currently assembling and testing all of the shields for the accessory kits here in Huntington Beach, which is taking a little longer than we had hoped. So, if we can't also ship those by the end of this week, then they will ship out next week. We will keep you posted, and feel free to contact us with any questions in the meantime. We are glad to announce the 3DoT campaign has been extended until 9/30, and we only have 15% funding left to go! In the meantime, we would like to to take a look at what makes the 3DoT able to power robots much bigger than itself, and the technical challenges makers commonly run into that make this difficult. Hey everyone! We will be hosting an Ask Me Anything (AMA) this Wednesday, 8/26, at 1pm PST. This will be the perfect opportunity to ask questions you may have about the 3DoT board and Humans for Robots. Read the full update.
Hey everyone! We're off to a great start so far. We have some shield updates coming in the next few weeks, and probably also a creator AMA at the end of the month. The best thing about projects like the 3DoT board is seeing what people create with it. I thought we'd share some of that this week. Read the full update.
Some years ago, we set out to develop the best single-board solution for our good friend Professor Hill's engineering classes. Many designs, ideas and features came and went, but soon enough, everything started converging toward the design you see on this page today. Soon, people like Jeff, another friend, started designing and 3D-printing incredible little 3DoT robots like the ones you see in the 3DoT Crowd Supply video. It was clear we should release this to the public, so, after a lot refinement, testing, and documentation... Here it is! Read the full update.
