The IQ Motor Module is an integrated motor and controller that uses a position sensor and advanced calibration and control algorithms to optimize motor performance. This brings professional-grade motor control to consumer and enterprise drones, as well as many other robotic applications.

  • Anticogging, reduced motor vibration (see below for more information)
  • Efficiency mode (sinusoidal commutation). Up to 20% more efficient than standard motors
  • Turbo mode (trapezoidal commutation). 4.8% increase in shaft power
  • Regenerative/active braking
  • Precise up to .088 degrees with synchronized positioning
  • Various communication protocols (serial, DShot, standard PWM)
  • Motor can be used as an input
