Software Defined Radio
LimeNET Micro 2.0 DE (Developer Edition) is a modular radio platform that leverages the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) and LimeSDR XTRX for their respective computing and RF features. It is based around the new LimePSB RPCM, a planar system — a.k.a. "main" — board, which is significantly more versatile than the previous version of LimeNET Micro, which was limited by its support for a less powerful compute module (CM3) and an integrated SISO radio.
LimeNET Micro 2.0 DE is comprised of LimePSB RPCM, Raspberry Pi CM4, and LimeSDR XTRX, which together form a complete baseband + RF solution and is an ideal tool for a wide range of wireless applications.
A deluxe version comes fully loaded with the Amarisoft 5G stack and core, two smartphones, and ten SIM cards, making it a turnkey private 5G network solution.
Alternatively, the LimePSB RPCM board can be populated with your choice of CM4 and mini PCIe card for custom configurations.
An integrated 2x2 MIMO front end module (FEM) provides higher output power using Qorvo driver amplifiers for a more comprehensive coverage range while keeping the frequency flexibility of the original LimeNET Micro. It also features integrated low noise amplifiers (LNAs) and SPDT switches that provide for both FDD and TDD modes of operation.
Our engineering team will be on site for manufacturing and final assembly of LimeNET Micro 2.0 DE. Being on site will allow us to adjust the production process very quickly and test the final product right away. As with our other products, LimeNET Micro 2.0 DE will be delivered to you in protective, informative, professionally designed packaging.
After completing production, we’ll send everything to Crowd Supply’s fulfillment partner, Mouser Electronics, who will distribute products to backers worldwide. You can learn more about Crowd Supply’s fulfillment service under Ordering, Paying, and Shipping in their guide.
We’re well aware of the ongoing risks of electronics production and have planned accordingly. From finding reliable sources of components, to being on site for production, we’ve made every effort to ensure smooth delivery to backers. Should something nonetheless go wrong, we’re committed to communicate openly and honestly about what’s going on and what we’re doing to fix it. Though better than a few years ago, these are still turbulent times for hardware manufacturing and we appreciate the trust you put in us!
