Learn more about Anavi and our new Miracle Emitter.

Following the successful start of the ANAVI Gas Detector crowdfunding campaign, a lot of people asked me, "what is the power consumption and can it run on batteries?". Instead of just giving you the technical specifications from a datasheet, I prefer to share a short video with a couple of experiments.

This article demonstrates how to retrofit a basic RGB floor lamp using addressable LED strips, the open source hardware ANAVI Miracle Emitter, and the WLED firmware.

A short tutorial on running the ANAVI Thermometer on batteries

ANAVI Gas Detector is an entirely open source development board and it is easy to flash a custom firmware. In this video tutorial I will explain how to compile and upload an Arduino sketch to it through Arduino IDE.

As an open-source project, you are free to modify or build the Dev Mic firmware from scratch. Learn how!

Thank you for your support! ANAVI Fume Extractor crowdfunding ended successfully and we have started the manufacturing of the printed circuit boards. In the mean time, a frequently asked question is: 'can you run ANAVI Fume Extractor on batteries?' And the answer is: 'Yes, absolutely!' Last weekend I visited the local hipster district in my hometown Plovdiv, Bulgaria to record a short video demonstration to show you how.

Out of the box, ANAVI Miracle Emitter comes with our default open source firmware. However, you have the freedom to easily change it. This tutorial walks you through the process of flashing WLED firmware onto an ESP-based development board using only a web browser.

All ANAVI Gas Detector kits include a MQ-135 analog gas sensor module for detecting air quality. According to the data sheet of MQ-135, the sensitivity characteristics of the sensor depend on temperature and humidity. Because of this, the Advanced and Developer kits of ANAVI Gas Detector also include a HTU21D I2C temperature and humidity sensor module. For everyone's convenience, the default Arduino sketch for ANAVI Gas Detector supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
