The local factory in Plovdiv, Bulgaria is back from summer vacation and have finished the 2nd batch of printed circuit boards for ANAVI Fume Extractor. As you know the default firmware for ANAVI Gas Detector is available in a free and open source Arduino sketch on GitHub. However, if you just need to get the latest stable version of the firmware, the fastest and easiest way is to download a pre-compiled binary and flash it with esptool.
Friday last week, 8 November, all ANAVI Gas Detectors for your orders were delivered to Crowd Supply. Now, approximately 2 weeks ahead of schedule, Crowd Supply team will start shipping them to you!
Good news: the first batch of ANAVI Macro Pad 8 gold-plated printed circuit boards (PCB) is ready. We received about 60 units from the local factory in Plovdiv, Bulgaria and we would like to explain in detail the whole manufacturing process.
Our super successful crowdfunding campaign draws to an exciting close! Thank you very much for your support. With your generous help ANAVI Fume Extractor will go from prototype to mass-manufactured do-it-yourself kit for makers.
Out of the box, all ANAVI Macro Pad 2 kits are powered by the popular, open source QMK firmware—the same firmware, not coincidentally, that we use for our Macro Pad 8. This update describes some of the other firmware that already exists, or that's in the works, for ANAVI Macro Pad 2.
ANAVI Gas Detector is enjoying a fantastic start to the crowdfunding campaign! In just 10 days, the project is fully funded and we hit all stretch goals! As promised, awesome stickers promoting open source will be added to each package and we will start preparing video tutorials.
