Bringing PoE to microcontrollers
When I created the wESP32 back in 2018, there weren't any widely available options to get standards compliant isolated Power over Ethernet on a small microcontroller. The situation has improved since then, but with the PoE-FeatherWing, I wanted to go a step further, and I talk about it extensively in this update. Shrinking Power Over Ethernet
Some of you may know that this is not my first Power over Ethernet (PoE) project. Of course, the PoE-FeatherWing would be a different beast. Launch Announcement
The PoE-FeatherWing campaign is finally live! Overall the project has moved along quite well (for a side project). That doesn't mean there weren't challenges though--there were plenty and I'll talk about some of them in future campaign updates! As always, a crowd funding campaign is only as successful as its backers make it, so I'm depending on you!
