Project Update · Powering Esparagus & Multiroom Setups
0.010
This week, we discuss various considerations for powering an Esparagus and we'll look at using squeezelite in a multi-room setup.

The Serberus is a multi-headed hardware hacking tool designed to easily connect to your target. It has 4 channels and has headers to interface with UART, JTAG, SPI, I2C and SWD. During this talk I will introduce the Serberus and why I felt it was necessary to create it and what makes it unique and different than the other similar tools.

A workshop on a workshop? What kind of inception nonsense is this? If I know one thing about makers, it's that we like doing stuff with our hands. So rather than just sitting and listening to a talk, in this workshop/talk mashup, you'll be putting together the beginning twist-together "breadboard" I developed for our local Basic Electronics workshops while I talk about my experience in applying for the grant that funded them, developing printed and online supporting materials, researching and buying supplies and tools, developing the curriculum, doing the outreach to folks underrepresented in STEM, and finally teaching the workshops, including how we accommodated people with different needs and abilities. If you'd like to teach workshops and aren't quite sure where to start, this workshop-chat will give you a solid base!

Hi everybody. We lost a couple of weeks due to customs-related issues, but everything has come through in the end. Mouser has received the shipment at their warehouse and will begin sorting it all out this week. We've pushed the estimated ship date back to October 12th, but we expect crowdfunding orders to be on their way before that. You have all been awesomely patient with these fulfillment delays. Thank you! Please check the 'Order Details' in your Crowd Supply Account Settings to make sure your shipping address is up-to-date! This post also covers our ongoing production plans, including our pick-and-place experimentation.

Mike, the young factory owner with an economics degree, first-time ever as a user and tester of GNU/Linux systems, does remarkably well.

In this update, we will demonstrate how simple it is to build and execute the Esmacat Master software for EASE. You can think of this software as a way for multiple EASE boards (and other EtherCAT slaves) to communicate with one another by reading values from one slave and writing to another. Any EtherCAT master software will work with EASE, but we are focusing here on our own free and open source code.

Across several projects, nearly EUR 400,000 worth of additional funding applications were put in, and around EUR 200,000 to 250,000 of those have been approved. The RISC-V Foundation's continued extreme unethical actions have led us to consider using Power ISA.
