Aeroh Link is a hackable IR remote that adds internet of things (IoT) goodness to your home appliances. With Aeroh Link, you can add mobile-app and voice control to any device that works with an infrared remote. Our iOS and Android companion apps allow you to control your appliances using a phone or tablet, and our integrations with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri enable voice control with your favorite voice assistant. Aeroh Link also maintains an OpenAPI, so you can design your own custom integrations.
Aeroh Link is compact yet powerful. It boasts a small footprint and flexible mounting options that make it a breeze to use on a wide range of surfaces. Just mount it on top of your equipment’s infrared receiver, and you’re done!
Because Aeroh Link includes an infrared receiver capable of repeating the signals it receives, you can continue using your OEM remote while Aeroh Link is mounted to the appliance. Whatsmore, you can use our companion mobile apps, in combination with that infrared receiver, to record device-specific infrared signals and program Aeroh Link to work with any equipment you want!
Aeroh Link makes your smart home smarter without breaking the bank.
Aeroh link is the ultimate solution for transforming your existing appliances into smart devices. It enables voice and app control for a wide range of equipment, including ACs, TVs, projectors, and lamps, to name just a few examples. You can use our mobile apps or integrate Aeroh Link into your smart-home platform of choice, be it Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple HomeKit, Home Assistant, or IFTTT. And it costs a fraction of what you’d pay for a single new appliance.
By leveraging Aeroh Link’s OpenAPI, you can develop additional integrations and design custom automations. And—whether using an existing integration or working through our API—you can set up automatic triggers based on time of day, weather, geographic location, and various other factors.
Aeroh Link is the most versatile retrofitting solution for your devices. We understand that home appliances come in all shapes and sizes, and we didn’t want to create rigid mounting requirements, so we built flexible mounts using thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) that could adapt to most surfaces. We also published 3D models for the enclosure and mounts so that you can download and print your mount or build your own custom mount if you have a unique use-case.

Aeroh Link has been designed and developed in Mountain View, California. We work with a contract manufacturer in Shenzhen, China for PCB fabrication. We will assemble the PCBs in-house for low-volume production, which includes fewer than 100 units. For large-volume production, we will work with a contract manufacturer in Milpitas, California for PCB assembly. The enclosures will be 3D printed in-house using polylactic acid (PLA), and the flexible mounts will also be 3D printed in-house using TPU.
After completing the Aeroh Link production run, we will box everything up and send it along to Crowd Supply’s fulfillment partner, Mouser Electronics, who will distribute products to backers worldwide. You can learn more about Crowd Supply’s fulfillment service under Ordering, Paying, and Shipping in their guide.
Aeroh, Inc. is a smart-home company based in Silicon Valley, California and founded by an experienced software engineer with a decade of experience working in startups. All of Aeroh Link’s components are readily available from multiple suppliers in the US, so component shortages should not be an issue. We are currently in the process of getting our integrations certified with other third-party services, and our estimated shipping dates have been carefully planned to account for delays.
