BeagleWire R2 Prototype
We are a bit behind schedule for fulfilling the BeagleWire crowdfunding orders and pre-orders, but not by much - we still expect to ship before the end of the month.

Precursor
In the first weeks since units shipped to backers, there has been a whirlwind of activity in firmware development. We're delighted to see such a vibrant community come together - thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences so far with us and the Internet. It really means a lot to us that people are using and enjoying their devices!

Apologies for the long overdue update, I’ve emerged from the lab, and I finally fought some of these issues to a standstill and got some time to sit down and write about it all for you here.

Introducing the Tiny Nostalgia Evocation Square (or TinyNES for short). TinyNES is an open hardware implementation of the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Famicom. Not merely an emulator or an FPGA-based implementation, TinyNES uses the original, 6502-derived chips and a custom circuit board. It's the real deal, and it's open hardware! TinyNES is compatible with original Nintendo Entertainment System and Famicom cartridges and controllers, so you can play all your favorites games right out of the box!

Between the talks, workshops, presentations, demos, and installations at Teardown 2018, there was a lot of intense information to absorb at once. Luckily, we were able to record some of the speakers doing their thing so attendees could reflect back and those who weren't able to come physically are still able to participate.

The crowdfunding campaign for the TinyFPGA BX has successfully completed. Thank you to everyone who has backed this project! The level of support was greater than I had imagined it would be and it has been a lot of fun watching the orders come in. If you didn't get a chance to back the project before the campaign ends, don't worry, you can still pre-order your board right from the Crowd Supply project page.

First, I want to thank everyone for pledging and following the TinyFPGA BX project. The amount of support the project is receiving is great and makes it that much more fun to work on. The original TinyFPGA B2 production run was 250 boards and the new BX campaign has pledges for nearly that many at the time of writing this update. Thank You!

The global supply chain crunch has severely disrupted production of Lime products. We're still committed to bringing all Lime products back into regular availability. We're plotting a course of action and we have updated delivery estimates accordingly. In the meantime, we're excited to share a video demo of a new software-controlled frontend filter bank (a.k.a. preselector).

Project Update · Our Campaign Is Live!

After years of development, the moment has arrived! The Modos Developer Kit campaign launches today on Crowd Supply, making high-performance open e-paper technology accessible to everyone. Like many of you, I spent over 12 hours a day in front of screens, feeling drained and distracted. The digital tools I relied on demanded attention rather than supporting my well-being. I wanted something different: a space free from eyestrain and noise where I could focus. I quickly realized I wasn't alone. From writers to engineers, digital minimalists to people with visual impairments, professionals across fields shared the same frustrations: constant distraction, headaches, and fatigue. What we all wanted were tools that worked with us, not against us. That's when I began exploring electrophoretic displays...

Hello everyone, A big THANK YOU to all the backers who have contributed their hard earned money as a way of endorsing the project, Crowd Supply, and the folks on Twitter/LinkedIn etc. who have retweeted/shared this project. The Vision FPGA SoM has been my pet project for more than a year now, so I truly appreciate the show of support. We're now in the final 24 hours of the campaign and really close to being fully funded: do check out the project and back it to get your hands on a state of the art device capable of machine learning with vision.

Qomu is now available for purchase from our crowdfunding campaign. The board fits right into your USB Type-A port and features the QuickLogic EOS S3 SoC, with an Arm Cortex-M4F microcontroller and embedded FPGA. Whether you need an accelerated machine learning classifier or glue logic for a new peripheral, the EOS S3 SoC puts you in control of making fine-grained design tradeoffs, and Qomu allows you to take your project development with you everywhere you go.

Thanks for all your support! In this update, we address some common questions and are pleased to announce that we've just added a much requested feature: external clock synchronisation.
