Project Update · Receiving Bluetooth Low Energy
0.010
We've published a new video in which Andrew demonstrates how LimeSDR can be used to receive and decode Bluetooth Low Energy.

We’re excited to announce that Lime Micro have open sourced their implementation of adaptive digital predistortion (ADPD) for PA linearisation. This can be used with the LimeNET Base Station and other platforms based around the 4x4 MIMO LimeSDR-QPCIe board, to help meet wireless regulatory specifications, while also improving power efficiency and reducing running costs.

LimeSDR
Thank you for your patience while we continue to manufacture and ship LimeSDR, LimeSDR Mini, and related products. We are experiencing a modest delay in fulfilling all outstanding orders while we ramp up higher-volume manufacturing and transfer inventory management fully over to Crowd Supply.

The engineering team are constantly striving to improve the overall performance and user experience of the LimeSDR platform, and in a blog post this week over on Myriad-RF, Andrew takes a look at a change in the way that SPI programming of the LMS7002M FPRF transceiver is handled, which has resulted in much faster read and write operations.

With just four days to go until the end of the campaign, were knocking on the doors of success. As of writing this, the LIT Tire is 92% funded. We couldnt have gotten here without the support and outreach efforts of our backers. On Monday, I was interviewed by Frank Peters on his CDM Cyclist radio show. I did my best to explain how Crowd Supply has helped us get this project rollingno pun inten...

LimeNET Gateway
We have been hard at work to come up with the LimeNET Gateway so that our backers can have backhaul cellular connectivity. LimeNET Gateway box offers Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity backed up by a connection to any 2G, 3G, or 4G macrocell.

Thank you to everyone for all the support received in the first few days of the campaign! I have already received a few questions, most of them concerning support for SDR frameworks other than GNU Radio (such as Pothos SDR) or one of the FreeSRP's most important hardware features: the IO capabilities provided by the expansion port. In this first update, I will try to address these topics.
