Project Update · Building a LimeSDR Remote Radio Head
1.010
In a new post up on the Myriad-RF blog, Andrew takes us through the hardware build for a remote radio head, which is to say a system that integrates RF and digital converters etc. that is used together with a second networked, remote system which then runs the actual SDR application.

In this new video Karl demonstrates another application with the LimeSDR Mini, but this time instead of being put together using GNU Radio Companion, the Pothos data-flow framework was used.

We are excited to share our performance measurements in the 10 to 10.5 GHz frequency range, which covers the 3 cm amateur radio band and has generated significant community interest.

LimeSDR Mini Render
Universal Radio Hacker (URH) is an incredibly handy tool designed for investigating unknown wireless protocols of a typically simple nature, such as those used by wireless thermostats, weather stations, and garage door openers, to name but a few common applications.

A long, long time ago, there used to be places in town (whole streets sometimes) where you could buy parts for radios and other electronics. Most are gone now, but those that exist have quite the story to tell, and have stuff you can't find anywhere else...
