Kryptor FPGA
Project Update · Sending Encrypted Data via GPRS & SMS
0.010
Time is moving quickly, and we have only about two weeks left to reach our funding goal! We are getting close to the end of the SKUDO Kryptor campaign, but you still have time to take advantage of our unique crowdfunding offer and receive a completely free HSM softcore with each purchase of a SKUDO Kryptor FPGA board. This offer is available only to those who back our campaign by September 28th. This update introduces a tutorial that walks through the process of using SKUDO Kryptor to send encrypted messages via GPRS. It also invites questions and feedback from the community, clarifies our open-source status, and reiterates our vision for SKUDO Kryptor.

The global supply chain crunch has severely disrupted production of Lime products. We're still committed to bringing all Lime products back into regular availability. We're plotting a course of action and we have updated delivery estimates accordingly. In the meantime, we're excited to share a video demo of a new software-controlled frontend filter bank (a.k.a. preselector).

Skudo is an European company offering deep-tech cybersecurity and hardware based encryption for high level niche markets (space, critical infrastructure, IoT etc.) We realized that for guaranteeing the highest level of security that these fields require, the hardware encryption is a must, but the commercial hardware encryption solutions available on the market did not match our clients needs. Hence, we decided to build it ourselves.

Libre RISC-V M-Class
Several things in this update: the OpenPower Foundation released their EULA (which is really exciting); we had a last-minute decision to go to FOSDEM to meet NLNet (and meet lots of nice people including someone from the EU Commission); we have new team members helping out (and making really good progress).

We have prepared a step-by-step tutorial to familiarize you with some simple but strong encryption procedures and to demonstrate how to connect the Kryptor HSM FPGA to a Raspberry Pi and exchange encrypted sensor data between two Raspberry Pi’s.
