For our first update, we'd like to start with the basics and tell you more about the amazing E-Ink Spectra 6 panel featured on Inkplate 13SPECTRA.

We are thrilled to announce that the manufacturing of Inkplate 5 units has been successfully completed! The devices have been shipped to Mouser Electronics, Crowd Supply's distribution partner. From there, they will be dispatched to your respective addresses.

This update covers various improvements to our hardware design files and to the Inkplate 6 Arduino library. In it, we also ask that you please consider filling out a six-question survey about the features you would most like to see in our next Inkplate product.

Happy November! This is my first post-funding project update, and wow -- did we ever fund. Zerowriter Ink raised just shy of $100,000 USD. It's shaping up to be one really cool device. So let's talk about something really important to me.

We're excited to delve into a specific feature that's got our engineers buzzing: the rotary encoder on Inkplate 6 MOTION. This nifty little gadget lets you navigate things like menus and directories smoothly and intuitively. But it's not just functional – it looks fantastic too! We've integrated LEDs that light up with different colors, adding a touch of programmable flair to your project.

As we approach the final stages before shipping, we're excited to share the progress and developments that have been made.

After several months of intensive product development, we are excited to kick off our latest campaign. Inkplate 6 MOTION features a 6-inch e-paper display with significantly reduced latency. Its 11 frame-per-second refresh rate dramatically reduces visible lag when rendering dynamic content such as animations, videos, keyboard input, graphical UX elements, and scrolling text. Combined with a powerful, 32-bit STM32H743 microcontroller, enhanced connectivity options, an illuminated rotary encoder, and various sensors, it has everything you need to bring your e-paper project to the next level.
