Project Update · Four-month Progress Report
0.040
Dear Backers, Its been four months since we finished Novenas crowdfunding campaign, and weve made a lot of progress since then, with a team of people hard at work to make Novena a reality. It takes many hands to build a product of this complexity, and we couldnt do it without our dedicated and hard-working team at AQS. Above is a photo from the conference room where we did the T1 plastics ...

Project Update · More Slimes and The Future of VR

More Slimes have shipped! 1069 more sets of slimes are on the way to Mouser and Crowd Supply right now, and should be shipping to backers in the next couple of weeks! Sadly, we couldn't fit all the orders from 2022 in this shipment, because we overproduced white sets. As soon as we get parts for the new batch, we will ship a small shipment to cover the rest of 2022. We expect it to happen mid-April.

We're happy to announce that all KrakenSDRs and antenna sets for backers have been delivered to the Crowd Supply warehouse! Now that customers are receiving their products, we wanted to remind people about our Wiki and the all-important Quick Start guide on it.

In this update, we will explore how the default firmware works and how to connect ANAVI Miracle Controller to your WiFi and MQTT broker. MQTT is a lightweight messaging protocol for (near) real-time communication between Internet of Things (IoT).

As famous professor said: "Good news, everyone!" Except this time it's actually good news: We received the first shipment of BNO085 chips - the main chips used in SlimeVR and the cause of all delays. We have the first 500 on hand with more coming by the end of March.

Project Update · SwarmDrive Haptic Feedback Experiments

This time I would like to dive into the exciting domain of haptic feedback using electric motors. The result of it all is a resemblance of a mechanical rotary encoder where you feel the clicks.

NeoPixels are rings, strips and other printed circuit boards with addressable RGB LEDs manufactured by Adafruit Industries, an open-source hardware company based in Manhattan, New York City. These chainable bright LEDs products are extremely popular in the maker community. All Miracle Controller kits include WS1812B LED strips, but other products with addressable RGB LEDs are also supported. I decided to give it a try and control simultaneously Adafruit NeoPixel Ring and Adafruit NeoPixel Stick.

ScopeFun provides a Python API that you can use to create your own applications. It allows you to build upon and extend existing ScopeFun features without modifying the source code. To demonstrate it's use, we have created a Python script that turns ScopeFun into a Bode analyzer.
